I was just thinking, it took two long years to get Rebecca. Now that we have her, it seems silly to me all the worrying and stressing that I did. Although, I must say, I was worried that we never would get her and we would have to start all over. Now, time is gone and we have such a precious little girl. Just like everything, it was worth it and it all happened in God's timing: Perfect timing.
The shopping in Korea was wonderful. We did barter for the souvenirs that we brought home. Reminded me of shopping in Mexico. There was also street vendors everywhere, not only in the market places. People buy food to eat and eat it right there in front of the vendor. Very interesting looking food. Also, in the market areas, you would see fish, lettuce and other veggie looking things. Most people bought from the super market or ate at the vendors. I am sure this is a big money making business. The longer the day went on, the more vendors were out.
On the tour, we also went to a ginseng factory and an amathyst factory. Both interesting but very pushy to buy from. We also visited some of the old dynasties from the old Korea. The structures were so beautiful.
More tomorrow....
