So in LOVE

I am so in love with a little girl and she lives half the world away. I have never held her in my arms, but fell in love the first time I saw her picture. Twenty-two months ago we began the journey of adoption. Here we are, and although we do have a picture, we do not have her in the US. My heart longs for her every day. Sometimes, I feel that I could die inside because we don't have her yet.
We were hoping to have our little one by Christmas but it looks like it will be after the first of the year. I am still praying for a Christmas miracle...if God could only grant me this miracle.

Today I learned a lesson. His timing is perfect timing and He is never late. Though, I may want this now and am tired of waiting, He wants me to wait. Not only to wait, but to praise and serve Him in the mean time. To enjoy the precious gifts that He has already blessed me with and just wait.

Thank you for this lesson.

  1. Oh, Stacey! I can't imagine how hard it must be to wait. I can sense how much you long to hold her in your arms.

You're right - His timing is perfect. (I've been learning that lesson myself lately).
